I am interested in your video but I have some thoughts and hope you can give some comment. 1. Can the nature be wholly explained or proven by science? At the beginning of last century, the physicists were optimistic that they had discovered the laws of the nature except two issues. Hilbert tried to build a set of mathematics that is self sufficient. However, Gödel’s incompleteness theorem proved that in some arithmetic, it can neither be proven to be true or false. Just like this sentence “this sentence is false”. Is this sentence true or false?

2. Is everything predetermined by physical laws? Einstein once said that “God does not play dice”. He did not believe in quantum mechanics and thought that there must be an explanation for such phenomena as two slit experiment or Schrödinger’s cat. However, Bell’s theorem proved by experiments that there is no hidden variables and nature is probabilistic. Is it really true that we can derive the past and the future of the world by physical laws alone?

3. What is physical properties? Is light just EM waves of different frequencies and is music just collection of sound waves? What is pleasure, anger, love, etc? Any free will? You once mentioned that the stock index can never be predicted by any laws. If there is an almighty god ( or a powerful computer ) who knows all laws of nature. He then tells everybody about the stock index of the next days. Everyone has free will. What will be the stock index next day? Just like the chaos theory and the butterfly effect, a minor difference can bring about great variation. Is it really possible to predict the future?
